QUINTESSENTIAL A/W LOOK
I’ve been keeping up to date with the widespread use of heritage prints (checks, hound’s-tooth, pinstripe, gingham, etc.) since the previous season and I must say the increase in this perennial pattern continues to take over the fashion industry floors. Keeping up with a traditional classic approach, the newness speaks in a brands way of contemporary-application.
When putting a look together there are various ways of playing with this trend such as Coordinated separates, wearing matching sets are a really cool throwback. You could also mix it up and go for a nonchalant look by paring the checked blazer over a casual hoodie and denim jeans. This trend is versatile and has the ability to suite everyone.
for my look, I decided to mix things up with a crisp white winter knit with cut out neckline and basically just let my accessories do the talking! Plus i finally found another pinstripe carrot leg pant, like my navy one from BERSHKA i was living in.
Although Winter is not my favourite season, I do get excited because I get to wear beanies and boots, oh, and scarves! Baker boy hats are another winter accessory I’m very keen on as you can see, plus aggressively large sunglasses. I know I’m just extra like that!
I had so much fun shooting this look we even did another location which was more on the botanical side than this, I will share more when I go over some cool sunglass trends happening this season and next season, in another blog post.
